BLAINE, Minn. – Outshot by a 31-17 margin in the game, the Augsburg University men's hockey team suffered a 5-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss at Bethel University on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a scoreless first period, Bethel scored three goals in the second period and twice in the third period for the shutout victory, splitting the weekend series with the Auggies.
• Landon Parker (FY, East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) had three shots for the Auggies, while also winning 11-of-14 faceoffs on the evening.
• Tommy Carls (SR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS), Peyton Hanson (SO, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS), Jake Hale (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Apex Virtual School), Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) and Cade Stibbe (SO, Fargo, N.D./Fargo Davies HS) had two shots each for the Auggies.
• Samuel Vyletelka (JR, Zilina, Slovakia/Grammar School of St. Francis of Assisi) had 26 saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Joe Westlund had a goal and an assist for Bethel. Justin Kelley had three assists.
• Travis Allen had 17 saves for the shutout win in goal.
