MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Augsburg University women's basketball team traveled north to take on Concordia-Moorhead in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference bout on Monday evening, falling to the Cobbers 72-52 at Memorial Auditorium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Cobbers controlled the pace of play for most of the first half, working out to a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter and pushing it to a 12-point advantage by halftime. Augsburg never managed to trim the deficit below double digits in the second half as Concordia secured the 72-52 win.

Kalena Myers (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) notched the first double-double of her career, setting a new career mark with 11 rebounds while adding 12 points and two steals.
Jhanae Green (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Minneapolis Southwest HS) had the strongest game of her young career as an Auggie, scoring nine points on 3-of-5 shooting in 16 minutes off the bench.

Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) and
Anja Smith (SR, Keawaskum, Wis./Saint Mary's Springs HS) finished with eight points each, with Manecke adding four rebounds and Smith adding one.
Wakinyela Bear (SO, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki HS) added seven points and three rebounds for Augsburg.
FOR THE FOES
• The duo of Emily Beseman and Carlee Sieben finished with 16 points each for the Cobbers.
