ST. PETER, Minn. – Behind goals from
Dylan Schneider (JR, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS),
Nick Catalano (SO, Pewaukee, Wis./Arrowhead Union HS) and
Gunnar Williams (FY, Elgin, Ill./University of Nebraska HS), the Augsburg University men's hockey team completed a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series sweep of Gustavus Adolphus College with a 3-2 win on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gustavus scored 25 seconds into the game, but the Auggies struck back with three straight goals to take the lead, and survived a late goal by the Gusties to pick up the victory.
• Schneider scored his second goal of the season at the 6:53 mark of the second period, tapping home a pass across the slot by
Cade Stibbe (SO, Fargo, N.D./Fargo Davies HS), following a feed from the left halfwall by
Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS).
• Catalano struck for the Auggies with his fifth goal of the campaign at the 12:43 mark of the second frame, finishing a 3-on-2 break by tapping home a pass in the slot from
James Miller (SO, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS).
• Williams, who claimed his first collegiate point in Friday's 3-2 win, scored his first collegiate goal at the 4:13 mark of the third period on a slapshot from the blue line, fed by Catalano and
Kyler Yeo (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS).
• For the third straight game, Augsburg was outshot, this time by a 38-26 margin. But goalie
Samuel Vyletelka (JR, Zilina, Slovakia/Grammar School of St. Francis of Assisi) had 36 saves -- his 10th game this season with 30 or more saves -- to pick up the victory.
