HOW IT HAPPENED
• Schoeberl scored her first goal of the game at the 11:10 mark of the second period, tipping home a centering attempt from the left half-wall by Tenley Stewart (SO, Esko, Minn./Esko HS), off a drop pass by Emily Cronkhite (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS).
• Her second goal of the game came on the power play at the 11:52 mark of the third period, on a one-timer in the slot off a centering pass by Elizabeth Fagerlind (JR, Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS). Nora Stepan (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) had the second assist on the goal.
Kennedy Stein (SR, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest HS) opened the scoring for the Auggies with an unassisted, shorthanded goal with 1:29 left in the first period, stealing the puck in the neutral zone and scoring on a rebound of her initial shot on-goal. The goal was the first shorthanded marker of her college career.
