QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "We were able to spread minutes all around tonight, and we had five different players collect goals, and we kept a clean sheet. It was an interesting game, but we got through it and got what we needed to clinch a playoff spot."
• "I was happy for Diego tonight as he collected his first brace in an Augsburg uniform, and I thought
Mizael Harris was a threat throughout the game. He has back-to-back four point games now with really good goal contributions.
Zachariah Sherian was outstanding when he dropped into center back for us, and Samon Gyasi was solid in his minutes in the same role."
• "I am glad that one is over, so we can move forward against an incredible Macalester team. I have the utmost respect for Gregg and his team and am excited to see how we stack up against them. It seems we are always playing them on the final day for playoff positioning, and somehow we end up seeing them in the first round again."
UP NEXT
• Augsburg closes the regular season on Friday (11/1) at 7:30 p.m. at Macalester. An Auggie victory would clinch a third-place MIAC finish for the Auggies, and a first-round conference playoff game at home.
