ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University volleyball team saw its seven-match winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night, with a three-set nonconference loss at the No. 22-ranked University of Northwestern-St. Paul.

• Northwestern, ranked No. 22 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III national poll, hit .337 as a team in the match, compared to .075 for the Auggies. The Eagles also converted 12 team blocks, compared to three for the Auggies.

Ava Carlson (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) led the way for the Auggies, collecting nine kills, 10 digs and a solo block.
Bri Van Well (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) also had nine kills, ading three digs and a solo block.

Madison Gully (SR, Oak Grove, Minn./St. Francis HS) had six kills and a block assist, and
Taylor Hoehns (JR, Cedar Falls, Iowa/Dike-New Hartford HS) had five kills and four digs.

Angel Vo (SR, Blaine, Minn./Mounds View HS) had 15 assists and six digs, and

• Marley Aune had eight kills on .368 hitting, with six blocks (two solo) to lead Northwestern.
