ST. PETER, Minn. – The Augsburg University volleyball team was swept in three sets by conference leader Gustavus Adolphus College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gustavus hit .377 in the match with 51 kills, compared to a .185 attacking effort by the Auggies with 33 kills.
• Ava Carlson (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) claimed 11 kills with four digs for the Auggies, while Bri Van Well (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) had nine kills with nine digs. Madison Gully (SR, Oak Grove, Minn./St. Francis HS) recorded six kills.
• Jovial King (SO, Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS) had 22 assists and eight digs, while Angel Vo (SR, Blaine, Minn./Mounds View HS) had six assists, two service aces and five digs. Libero Torrie Rehder (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) had 13 digs.

FOR THE FOES
• Lauren Klaith recorded 15 kills on .441 hitting to lead Gustavus.
• Kasie Tweet had 44 assists and eight digs.
