ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University volleyball team scored a first-set victory on the road, but the College of St. Catherine went on to win the next three sets in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over the Auggies on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies hit .244 in the first set, with 14 kills and four errors on 41 attack attempts, to win the first set 25-17. However, the Auggies were limited to a .126 attack percentage (30 kills, 16 errors, 111 attacks) in the final three sets. Meanwhile, the Wildcats hit just .071 (10 kills, seven errors, 42 attacks) in the first set, but hit .304 (45 kills, 11 errors, 112 attacks) in the final three sets. St. Catherine also claimed eight team blocks and 12 service aces in the match, compared to three team blocks and five aces for Augsburg.

Bri Van Well (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) led the Auggies with 15 kills, hitting .205, with seven digs and a block assist.
Ava Carlson (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) had seven kills and eight digs, and
Taylor Hoehns (JR, Cedar Falls, Iowa/Dike-New Hartford HS) had six kills and six digs.

Torrie Rehder (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) recorded her fifth 20-plus-dig effort of the season, with 24 digs and two service aces.

Angel Vo (SR, Blaine, Minn./Mounds View HS) had 19 assists, eight digs and two service aces, and
Jovial King (SO, Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS) had 16 assists and eight digs.
FOR THE FOES
• Three Wildcats had 12 kills each -- Liz Rosen, Madison Fagan and Mallory Johnson. Rosen had nine digs, and Fagan had five blocks (one solo).
• Lucia Neuman had 22 assists and 11 digs.
