MINNEAPOLIS -- Outshot by a 21-7 margin, the Augsburg University women's soccer team lost its first game in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play, falling 3-0 to Carleton College on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Carleton, the MIAC's co-leader, dominated the run of play throughout the game, claiming an 8-2 advantage in shots on-goal and a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks. The Knights held a 52-to-48-percent possession advantage in the game, but the Auggies were rarely in their attacking third, with just 11 percent of its possession there.
• The Knights scored goals in the seventh, 57th and 65th minutes to claim the victory.
