MARSHALL, Minn. – The Augsburg University women's basketball team dropped a 101-51 decision at Division II Southwest Minnesota State University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Southwest Minnesota State dominated from start to finish against Division III Augsburg, leading for 37:47 compared to just 1:01 for the Auggies. The Mustangs shot 49.3 percent (34-of-69) from the field, compared to just 28.6 percent (18-of-63) for the Auggies. Augsburg committed 21 turnovers compared to SMSU's 11, and the Mustangs had a 30-3 advantage on points off-turnovers. SMSU also outrebounded Augsburg by a 51-38 margin in the game.

Wakinyela Bear (JR, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki (Iowa) HS) led the Auggies in scoring, with 16 points, four assists and three rebounds.

• All but one of the 13 Mustangs that saw game action scored, led by Bri Stoltzman, who scored 19 points with six rebounds, four assists and five steals.
• Kenzie Jones scored 15 points for SMSU.
