Emma Abrahamson (SO, Carpentersville, Ill./Hampshire HS) scored a pair of goals, with
Nora Stepan (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) scoring the other, as the Augsburg University women's hockey team completed a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series sweep of Concordia College-Moorhead with a 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 1-0 early in the second period, Augsburg scored three straight goals to take the lead, and kept the lead after the Cobbers cut the lead to one goal midway through the third period.
• Stepan opened Augsburg's scoring with a power-play goal at the 10:35 mark of the second period, firing a blast from the left point following a pass from
Annika Mielke (FY, Waconia, Minn./Waconia HS).
Tenley Stewart (JR, Esko, Minn./Esko HS) had the second assist.
• Abrahamson gave the Auggies the lead three minutes later, scoring on a backhand shot across the slot off a passes from Mielke and
Emily Schoeberl (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS). Her second goal was unassisted at the 11:24 mark of the third period, driving up the left wing on a 2-on-1 break and scoring on a wrist shot.
• Augsburg held a 29-26 shots on-goal advantage, with
Marissa Paaske (JR, Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central HS) recording 24 saves in goal to gain the victory.
FOR THE FOES
• Hailee Bailey had 26 saves in goal for the Cobbers.
• Morgan Sauvageau scored both goals for Concordia, with Abbey Hardwick getting two assists.
