MINNEAPOLIS -- Trailing 4-1 after two periods, the Augsburg University men's hockey team cut the lead to a goal, but could not get any further in a 4-3 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss to the College of St. Scholastica on Friday evening.

• After a scoreless first period, St. Scholastica scored 35 seconds into the second frame, but Augsburg tied it up 66 seconds later, as
Carter Schram (FY, Lansing, Minn./Haslett HS) scored his first collegiate goal, scoring on a one-timer off a pass across the slot by
Conner Schneider (FY, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS).
Michael Ferrandino (SR, Lisle, Ill./Waterloo West (Iowa) HS) had the second assist.
• St. Scholastica scored three unanswered goals to take a 4-1 lead after two periods, but Augsburg scored twice in the opening 3:18 of the third period to cut the lead to one goal.

Zachary Reim (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy) scored his first collegiate goal, scoring from the left faceoff circle, after a missed shot by Schram was tapped back by
Graham Harris (FY, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) 1:53 into the third period.

Landon Parker (SO, East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) made it a one-goal game at the 3:18 mark, scoring on a backhand shot across the slot following a long up-ice pass by
Dylan Schneider (SR, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS). Reim received the second assist.
