MINNEAPOLIS -- Surrendering a pair of goals in the third period, the Augsburg University men's hockey team dropped a 3-1 nonconference contest to the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies gave up the first goal of the game at the 13:29 mark of the second period, but tied the game 2:11 later with a shorthanded goal by
Nick Catalano (JR, Pewaukee, Wis./Arrowhead Union HS) on a brilliant assist by
Peyton Hanson (JR, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS). Hanson gained the puck on a steal, pushed the puck forward on a break and dove to direct it towards a streaking Catalano, who snapped a wrist shot into the net for his first goal of the season.
• Augsburg was outshot by a 43-28 margin in the game, as the visiting Raiders kept constant pressure on the hosts.
Graham Harris (FY, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) and
Zachary Reim (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy) had four shots on-goal each, and
Jake Osiecki (SR, Verona, Wis./Verona HS) had four blocked shots.
