DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Augsburg University men's basketball team dropped a 76-50 decision to Beloit College in a nonconference contest on Friday evening at the Ocean Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Beloit scored the first 10 points of the game and never trailed, leading 46-19 at halftime and pulling away to lead by as many as 34 points in the second half. The Buccaneers shot 44.6 percent (33-of-74) from the field, compared to 36.8 percent (16-of-41) for the Auggies. 
• Augsburg was led by Andy Stafford (SR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS), who scored 13 points with three rebounds and two assists.
• Conner Barney (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) came off the bench to score 10 points in 14 minutes. Will Blascziek (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) scored seven points.
• Elias Batala (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS), Mario Adams (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eastview HS) and Trent Gomez (SO, Two Harbors, Minn./Two Harbors HS) scored four points each.
 
FOR THE FOES
• Jabari Scuefeild scored 17 points with seven rebounds to lead Beloit.
• Dae'Quan Davis scord 16 points with 13 rebounds for the Buccaneers.
