Will Blascziek (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) hit a long three-pointer at the overtime buzzer, giving the Augsburg University men's basketball team a 90-87 nonconference victory over the University of Mount Saint Joseph (N.Y.) on Saturday at the Ocean Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Mount Saint Vincent tied the game at 87-87 on a driving layup by DJ Tucker with 5.6 seconds left in overtime.
Julien Hussherr (JR, Strasbourg, Alsace, France/Episcopal Saint Etienne HS) took the inbounds pass from
Andy Stafford (SR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS), dribbled and fired the ball upcourt to an open Blascziek, who fired the game-winning three-pointer from about 25 feet away.
• Blascziek led the Auggies with a season-high 26 points, adding 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. He connected on 10-of-17 from the field, including 5-of-9 from three-point range.
• The Auggies jumped out to an 11-2 lead, led 37-33 at halftime and led by as many as 14 points in the contest, before the Dolphins used a 14-3 run over the final 2:53 of regulation to tie the game at 75-75. Neither team led by more than three points in the overtime period.
• All five Augsburg starters scored in double-figures, led by Blascziek's 26 points. Stafford scored 14 points with five rebounds, while Hussherr scored 14 points with five assists and seven rebounds.

Mario Adams (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eastview HS) scored 12 points with four rebounds and two assists, and
Elias Batala (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) scored 11 points with four assists and five rebounds.
• Augsburg connected on 46.5 percent (33-of-71) from the field, including a season-best 11-of-27 (40.7 percent) from three-point range. The Auggies outrebouned the Dolphins by a 53-to-39 margin in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Tucker led Mount Saint Joseph with 23 points, while Kevin Agyemang scored 18 points with six rebounds.
• Josiah Basket scored 12 points with seven rebounds for the Buccaneers.
