MINNEAPOLIS – The Augsburg University women's basketball team hosted Concordia College-Moorhead in its home finale on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Cobbers 90-69 on senior day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Cobbers came out hot in the opening half, leading 27-12 at the first quarter break and taking a 56-25 lead by halftime.
• The Auggies were narrowly outscored 21-20 in the third quarter, but managed to win the fourth quarter by a 24-13 margin.
• Augsburg shot 26-of-60 from the field (40.0%) and 8-of-21 from beyond the arc (38.1%) while the Cobbers connected on 33 of their 61 total attempts (54.1%) and 12-of-21 (57.1%) from deep.

Wakinyela Bear (SO, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki HS) matched her career high with 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting, also adding five rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Anja Smith (SR, Kewaskum, Wis./Saint Mary's Spring HS) finished with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting to go along with five rebounds, a block, and a steal.
Kalena Myers (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) also reached double figures with 10 points and two rebounds.

Jhanae Green (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Minneapolis Southwest HS) led the scoring effort off the bench with six points, a rebound, and a steal.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
• The game marked the final home games for a trio of Augsburg seniors:
Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS),
Kalena Myers, and
Anja Smith.
FOR THE FOES
• Makayla Anderson led the Cobbers with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
