LEESBURG, Fla. -- The Augsburg University softball team split its games in THE Spring Games in Florida on Wednesday, rallying for a 5-3, eight-inning win over Albertus Magnus College, but falling 11-0 in five innings to McMurry University.

ALBERTUS MAGNUS GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• Trailing 3-0 after five innings, Augsburg tied the game with a run in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh, then clinched the win with a pair of runs in the eighth inning.

Megan Gissler (FY, Louisville, Neb./Louisville HS) scored on a wild pitch in the sixth inning. In the seventh,
Lola Pilon (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Mounds Park Academy HS) hit a one-out double, and pinch runner
Morgann Paaske (JR, Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central HS) scored on a single by
Zoie Johnson (JR, Carlton, Minn./Esko HS). Johnson then scored on an RBI single by
Jaime Olson (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS).

Olivia Dynneson (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) placed on second base in the eighth,
Jayden Evenson (SO, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) hit a single to move her to third, and
Torrie Rehder (JR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) hit an RBI single to drive in Dynneson. Evenson then scored on an RBI groundout by
Olivia Funk (JR, Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura HS).
• Rehder had two of Augsbug's eight hits in the game.

Olivia O'Connor (SR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) struck out two against no walks and seven hits to pick up the complete-game pitching victory.
McMURRY GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• McMurry scored two runs in the fourth inning, then sent 14 batters to the plate and scored 11 runs -- seven unearned -- in the sixth inning, ending the game early via the NCAA eight-run rule.
• Johnson and
Libby Moore (SR, Springville, Iowa/Springville HS) each had a hit in the game for the Auggies.
• Paaske had a strikeout against two walks in 5.2 innings of pitching, with Moore getting a strikeout against a walk in relief.
FOR THE FOES
• Colleen Edwards went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI for Albertus Magnus.
• Trista Brown went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBI for McMurry.
