
MINNEAPOLIS – Augsburg University basketball player
Isaac Rabaey (JR, Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS) was named to the Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), it was announced this week.
A business management major with a 3.63 GPA, Rabaey was a key contributor for the Auggies this season. Rabaey saw action in all 25 of Augsburg's games during the season, including 16 starts. He ranked fifth on the team with an average of 7.8 points per-game, and was second on the team with 121 total rebounds (4.8 per-game). He reached double figures in scoring nine times throughout the season, scoring a season-high 17 points in Augsburg's double overtime win over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on November 25.
The CSC Academic All-District team is part of the
CSC Academic All-America program. Student-athletes must have a grade-point average above 3.50 (4.0 scale) and have outstanding athletic credentials.
The Division III Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Division III Academic All-America teams program.
