KISSIMMEE, Fla. --
Olivia Funk (JR, Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura HS) went 4-for-7 on the day with a home run and three runs scored, leading the Augsburg University softball team in a pair of wins to open the Auggies' spring break trip to Florida on Saturday. Augsburg scored a pair of one-run wins, topping Mitchell College 4-3 and New England College 6-5.

• Funk connected on her first collegiate home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving Augsburg a 4-3 lead. She finished the game going 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and a walk.Â

NEW ENGLAND GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg used a four-run second inning to take the lead and scored two runs in the fifth inning, then held off a late New England College comeback to improve to 8-0 on the season.
