MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team dropped a 23-3 decision to the College of Saint Benedict in a Midwest Lacrosse Conference game on Friday at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Benedict outshot Augsburg by a 49-6 margin, including a 35-2 advantage in the first half, as the Bennies built a 16-1 halftime lead. Saint Benedict had 20 draw controls to Augsburg's eight, and 27 ground balls to Augsburg's 12. The Bennies forced 26 Augsburg turnovers while committing 16.

• Sami Hackley scored nine goals with two ground balls and two caused turnovers to lead Saint Benedict, while Lizzie Schrubbe scored five goals with five assists, six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Grace Fitzgibbons scored two goals with four assists, eight draw controls and a ground ball.
