QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "It was good in the sense that we got time for a lot of different players, we stayed healthy, and we kept a clean sheet. Miz grabbing a brace was promising, and I know he will want a few other moments back, as will several other guys. Tonight was a good night for those learning moments to happen, because on Friday we will be punished for not capitalizing on our chances."
• "I thought Remus was outstanding once again, and
Anson Karn was really sharp. He is getting better every game and his versatility is something we are going to need moving forward."
• "This upcoming weekend will be a good litmus test of where we stand in the region. Luther and Wartburg are very strong programs with NCAA resumes, and we are excited to learn more about ourselves in those games."
UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts Luther (Iowa) in a nonconference game on Friday (9/6) at 5 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
