QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "This was a good college soccer game with both teams playing in a way that was pleasing, and both teams created chances. The old adage that goals change games is fitting here. We failed to score our chances. Their goalkeeper was really sharp, and their group was committed to protecting the goal in their structure."
• "Remus and Ceazar were really good once again on both edges as they pushed the game forward.
Diego Veit was a calming presence for us in the second half, and Mizael is always dangerous."Â
• "We go again Sunday on the road at a very good Wartburg program. These games are going to help us for the grinding MIAC schedule, but we want more than just a good showing."
UP NEXT
• Augsburg travels to face Wartburg (Iowa) on Sunday (9/6) at 3 p.m. in Waverly, Iowa.
