Auggies dominate in 5-1 win at Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Landon Parker (SO, East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) and Graham Harris (FY, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) scored two goals each, as the Augsburg University men's hockey team claimed a 5-1 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at Hamline University on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Parker opened the scoring 35 seconds into the game, sprinting on a break and scoring from the high slot, assisted by Peyton Hanson (JR, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS) and Zachary Reim (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy). He also scored the final goal for the Auggies, a wrister from the left faceoff dot at the 16:17 mark of the second period, assisted by Daniel Chladek (SR, Anaheim, Calif./Canyon HS) and Nick Catalano (JR, Pewaukee, Wis./Arrowhead Union HS). Parker now has a team-leading nine goals.
• Harris scored at the 10:38 mark of the second period, sliding the puck under the goalie's pads off a long lead pass by Parker Jasper (FY, Regina, Saskatchewan/Martin Collegiate HS). His second goal came at the 15:15 mark of the third period, scoring on a rebound off a shot by Dylan Schneider (SR, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS), with Conner Schneider (FY, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) getting the second assist. 
Gunnar Williams (SO, Elgin, Ill./Burlington Central HS) scored his second goal of the season on a scramble in front of the net, with Cade Stibbe (JR, Fargo, N.D./Fargo Davies HS) and Chladek.
• Hamline claimed a 49-31 advantage in shots on-goal, but Auggie goalie Carsen Stokes (SO, Prior Lake, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) recorded a season-high 48 saves to pick up the win -- his third game this season with 40-plus saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Nicolas Haviar scored a power-play goal at the 6:27 mark of the second period, assisted by Nikolai Dulak.
• Maximillian Haselbacher had 17 goals in 36 minutes in goal for Hamline, with Trevor Wong recording nine saves in relief.
