CHICAGO, Ill. -- Going 25-5 with 13 pins and five technical falls on the afternoon, the Augsburg University men's wrestling team dominated in winning all three of its dual meets at the University of Chicago UAA Challenge Duals on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg, ranked No. 4 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III tournament national poll and No. 3 in the dual meet poll, scored a 32-9 victory over No. 11/20 New York University, winning seven of 10 bouts with three pins and a technical fall. The Auggies then went 9-1 in a 45-3 win over Case Western Reserve (Ohio), with four pins and a technical fall, and finished with a 51-3 triumph over No. 21-ranked Chicago (Ill.), going 9-1 with six pins and three technical falls.

Cooper Willis (JR, Kansasville, Wis./Union Grove HS) went 3-0 on the day with two first-period pins and a 15-0, second-period technical fall, improving to 17-0 on the season. Of his 17 wins, 14 are bonus-point decisions (five pins, five technical falls, four major decisions).

Parker Venz (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS), ranked No. 2 nationally at 197 pounds, won both of his matches by first-period pin to improve to 13-0 on the season, with six pins, two technical falls and a major decision. He now has 53 pins in his 82-28 collegiate career.

Tyler Raway (JR, Wyoming, Minn./Forest Lake HS) scored a pair of first-period pins to improve to 15-4 on the season.

Brandt Bombard (JR, North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS), ranked No. 5 nationally at 184 pounds, improved to 16-2 on the year with two victories -- a first-period pin and a 3-0 victory over No. 3-ranked Trent Furman of New York University.

Seth Goetzinger (SR, Chatfield, Minn./Chatfield HS), ranked No. 6 at 174 pounds, scored an 18-1, third-period technical fall and a 2:55 pin to improve to 12-2 on the year with nine bonus-point victories (four pins, three technical falls, two major decisions).

Matthew Randolph (FY, Jordan, Minn./Jordan HS (Scott West)) moved to 18-1 in his debut college season with a pair of wins, including a third-period pin. He has four pins, four technical falls and three major decisions among his 18 wins.

Chance Suddeth (SO, Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton HS), ranked No. 15 at 133 pounds, went 2-1 on the day with a pin to improve to 17-4 on the season.
AUGSBURG WHITE TEAM AT CENTRAL INVITATIONAL
CENTRAL UNDER ARMOUR INVITATIONAL RESULTS
• Eleven Augsburg wrestlers competed at the Central University (Iowa) Under Armour Invitational in Pella, Iowa, with two champions and six placewinners. Auggie wrestlers went 23-15 with six pins, three technical falls and three major decisions on the day.

Cole Sarbacker (FY, Edgerton, Wis./Stoughton HS) and
Brady Swenson (FY, Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS) won Silver division titles at 149 and 157, respectively, while
Karson Casper (JR, Coleman, Wis./Coleman HS) placed second in the Gold division at 149 pounds and
Jacob Schimek (FY, Eagle Lake, Minn./St. Clair HS) placed second in the Silver division at 197.
