Michael Ferrandino (SR, Lisle, Ill./Waterloo West (Iowa) HS) scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 1:36 left in overtime, as the Augsburg University men's hockey team rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to claim a 4-3 nonconference victory at Marian University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg trailed 3-0 just 4:18 into the first game, and the margin stood for the first half of the game. The Auggies got on the board 9:31 into the second period, with the first of four straight goals to capture their second straight nonconference overtime win.
• Ferrandino scored his second goal of the game at the 3:24 mark of the 3-on-3 overtime, scoring on a rebound off a
Conner Schneider (FY, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) shot in the slot. The goal was set up after a
Landon Parker (SO, East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) shot had hit the post, with Parker getting his own rebound and resetting the play.

Carter Schram (FY, Lansing, Mich./Haslett HS) started the comeback for the Auggies, lacing a rising wrist shot from the top of the left circle off a faceoff win by
Blaine Warnert (SR, Chaska, Minn./Chaska HS) at the 9:31 mark of the second period.
• Ferrandino scored his first goal of the season at the 14:19 mark of the second frame, taking advantage of an open lane from the left point and blasting a slap shot from the left faceoff dot, off an assist by Schneider.
• The Auggies tied the game at the 5:10 mark of the third period, with
Graham Harris (FY, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) scoring his fourth goal of the season, completing a breakout with a shot from the left halfwall, assisted by
Conner Schneider and
Dylan Schneider (SR, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS).
• Augsburg outshot Marian by a 32-28 margin in the game, with
Carsen Stokes (SO, Prior Lake, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) stopping 25 shots in goal for the win.
FOR THE FOES
• Jaymes Knee scored Marian's first goal 1:13 into the game, and had assists on a pair of goals in a 14-second span by Daunte Fortner, giving the Sabres a 3-0 lead 4:18 into the game.
• Nicholas Von Kaufmann had 28 saves in goal for Marian.
