QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG COACH GREG HOLKER
• "Hamline made that game as slow and boring as possible, and were very successful frustrating us and taking the tempo out of the game. We were much better in the second half, playing forward than around like we did in the first half, but it took a special moment from
Carver Tierney to finally unlock them and get us the three points."
• "Losing
Mizael Harris to injury again was a psychological test for the group as well. We will see what comes of that and wish him the best possible outcome. He's an irreplaceable player, and one we rely heavily on to lead the front line."
• "
Jeffrey Richter and
Cole Pettit did well in the back, preventing any dangerous moments from becoming a problem with the recovery defending. Richter has been one of the best in the league all season, and we are going to need both of them to stand out on Wednesday against a very good Bethel team."
• "The most important thing was to get the three points needed to stay in the title hunt and give the 1975 MIAC championship team we were celebrating something to feel proud of on their special day."
FOR THE FOES
• Hamline goalkeeper Alec Setterberg had nine saves.
