MINNEAPOLIS -- For the third time this season, Augsburg University men's soccer goalkeeper
Christian Hodges (FY, New Albany, Ohio/Tree of Life Christian School) was named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week on defense, it was announced on Monday.
Hodges stopped all nine shots he faced in a pair of 1-0 shutout wins for No. 10-ranked Augsburg in the past week. On Tuesday, he had five saves in the
Auggies' 1-0 win at regionally-ranked UW-Superior, and on Saturday, he had four saves in a

Playing in all but 19:35 of Augsburg's 1,260 minutes in goal, Hodges now has nine individual shutouts and a 13-1-0 record, with a 0.58 goals against-average and .877 save percentage on 57 saves. His nine shutouts are tied for the most among NCAA Division III goalkeepers nationally.
Now 13-1-0 overall and 4-1-0 in MIAC play, Augsburg hosts Bethel in an MIAC game on Wednesday (10/15) at 7:30 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
