2025 MIAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

MINNEAPOLIS -- Another race, another Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor for Augsburg University men's cross country runner
Mohammed Bati (SR, Dodola, Ethiopia/GAP School). Bati earned the honor for the 12th time in his career and fourth time this season, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
At Saturday's Luther College Kent Finanger Invitational in Waseca, Minn., claimed a 35.5-second victory in a four-kilometer race with a dominant 11.51.4-second effort, in his warmup effort before the MIAC Championships. The win was the 17th of his collegiate career, and the ninth win in his last 10 races for Bati, who has won three straight MIAC individual titles and finished second at last year's NCAA Division III national championships.
Bati is currently ranked third in the most recent FloTrack.org NCAA Division III individual national rankings (Oct. 7).
Augsburg competes at the MIAC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Highland 9-Hole Course in St. Paul, Minn.
