ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Scoring the final 19 points of the game in the fourth quarter, the Augsburg University football team rallied for a 32-21 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at Macalester College on Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS

LOCATION: Macalester Stadium, St. Paul, Minn.
RECORDS: Augsburg 3-3 overall (3-2 MIAC), Macalester 2-4 overall (1-4 MIAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wide receiver Tyrone Wilson (SR, Ellendale, Minn./New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva HS) caught nine passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns, including scores of 56 and 51 yards on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter, giving the Auggies the lead for good. He also caught an eight-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter on a halfback-option pass from Jeremiah Moore (JR, Gilbert, Ariz./Chandler HS).
• Macalester took a 14-0 lead midway through the second quarter, but Augsburg clawed its way back into the game, starting with the halfback-option pass from Moore to Wilson, capping a 10-play, 71-yard, 4:58 drive.
• On the opening drive of the third quarter, RJ Chakolis (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Hopkins HS) blocked a Macalester punt and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown to cut the Scots' lead to 14-13.
• The Scots expanded the lead to 21-13 on a 49-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, but Augsburg struck quickly, with a three-play drive capped by Caden Rodkewich's (JR, New Brighton, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS) 56-yard touchdown pass to Wilson, 54 seconds into the fourth quarter.
• After the Auggie defense forced the Scots to punt, Augsburg took just three plays again to take the lead, with Rodkewich's 51-yard pass to Wilson capping the drive. Macalester drove to the Augsburg 28-yard line on its next drive, but a 15-yard sack by Chakolis on fourth down gave the Auggies the ball on downs. Augsburg drove the ball 57 yards, capped by a Rodkewich 12-yard touchdown pass to Kobey Sandifer-Howze (SO, St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy HS) with 1:44 left to play.
• Rodkewich completed 28-of-30 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns against one interception. Wilson's 181 receiving yards marked his third 100-yard-plus receiving game of the season.
