DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Augsburg University men's hockey team lost its second game of the weekend to a nationally ranked opponent, falling 3-2 to the No. 7/9-ranked University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon in the consolation game of the University of Dubuque's Key City Classic tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Ryan Comishock's (FY, Enosburg Falls, Vt./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) picked up his second goal of the season at the 3:21 mark of the second period, tying the game at 1-1 on assists from
Peyton Hanson (SR, Hudson, Wis.) and
Landon Parker (JR, East Grand Forks, N.D./East Grand Forks HS).
• UW-Stevens Point took the lead back with a goal three minutes later, but the Auggies tied the game again at the 8:45 mark, as Parker scored from Hanson and
Nick Catalano (SR, Oconomowoc, Wis./Arrowhead Union HS). The Pointers regained the lead with an even-strength goal at the 4:42 mark of the third period.
• Augsburg outshot UW-Stevens Point by a 34-26 margin.
Alex Timmons (JR, Lake Elmo, Minn./Gentry Academy HS), a transfer from Framingham State (Mass.) making his Auggie debut in goal, had 23 saves.
