Mason Hendrickson (SR, Excelsior, Minn./Minnetonka HS) scored his first goal in an Augsburg University uniform, but Marian University scored 1:08 into overtime to claim a 2-1 nonconference men's hockey win on Tuesday evening.

• A transfer from Gustavus Adolphus College, Hendrickson scored on a rebound in front, off a shot from the left halfwall by
Zachary Reim (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy HS), to tie the game at 1-1 at the 14:14 mark of the second period.
Gunnar Williams (JR, Elgin, Ill./Burlington Central HS) had the second assist.
• The Auggies were outshot by a 24-18 margin by the Sabres, but the Auggies had 15 blocked shots in the contest to protect goalie
Alex Timmons (JR, Lake Elmo, Minn./Gentry Academy HS), who had 22 saves.

Max Giblin (JR, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS) had three shots on-goal for the Auggies.

• Brendan Bottem scored the game-winning goal 1:08 into overtime for Marian, assisted by Nolan Flint and Brady Brenner.
• Quinn Mulder scored from Edison Weeks and Andrew Politoski at the 2:33 mark of the second period for the Sabres.
