MENOMONIE, Wis. -- Limited to just a 28.8-percent shooting performance, the Augsburg University women's basketball team dropped a 79-57 nonconference decision at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The host Blue Devils led from start to finish, hitting 45.9 percent (28-of-61) from the field, compared to 28.8 percent (19-of-66) for the Auggies. The Blue Devils outrebounded the Auggies by a 51-35 margin, and led by as many as 29 points in the contest.

Wakinyela Bear (SR, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki HS) led Augsburg in scoring with 16 points, adding three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Saylor Gallagher (JR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored 14 points with four rebounds and two assists, and
Amira LaDuke (SR, Cass Lake, Minn./Cass Lake-Bena HS) scored 10 points with four rebounds and a blocked shot.

Tyliah Frazier (FY, Fridley, Minn./Fridley HS) scored eight points with two rebounds and two assists.
