GALLATIN, Tenn. -- The Augsburg University men's basketball team's seven-game winning streak was snapped by No. 2-ranked Randolph-Macon College, as the Auggies fell 85-49 in a nonconference contest at the Music City Classic on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• During a 6:45 span that bracketed the final 3:12 of the first half and opening 3:33 of the second half, Randolph-Macon scored 28 straight points, turning a 30-24 advantage into a 58-24 advantage. The Yellow Jackets led by as many as 39 points down the stretch.
• Augsburg was paced by
Daveion Hart (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Hopkins HS), who scored 14 points, adding three rebounds and a blocked shot.

Hanif Muhammad (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Breck HS) scored eight points with two rebounds and a steal, and
Ali Axmed (JR, Lakeville, Minn./North HS) scored six points with three assists and a steal.

JJ Semanko (FY, New Hope, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored five points with five rebounds and a blocked shot.
• Augsburg was held to a season-low 33.3 percent (17-of-51) shooting from the field, including just 29.2 percent (7-of-24) from three-point range. The Yellow Jackets shot 50.7 percent (34-of-67) from the field. Randolph-Macon outrebounded Augsburg by a 47-27 margin and held a 48-12 margin in points-in-the-paint.
