Saylor Gallagher (JR, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored 16 points to lead the Augsburg University women's basketball team in its 89-51 loss to the No. 10/10-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Monday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UW-Whitewater, ranked No. 10 in both the D3hoops.com and Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III national polls, took advantage of 22 Augsburg turnovers, scoring 31 points. The Warhawks dominated in every statistical category, outrebounding the Auggies by a 42-27 margin, scoring 56 points in the paint to the Auggies' 24, and scoring 27 fast-break points to the Auggies' seven. The Warhawks hit 57.1 percent (36-of-63) from the field, compared to 36.2 percent (21-of-58) for the Auggies.
• In addition to her 16 points, Gallagher added five rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead the Auggies.

Sydney Hazuga (JR, Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial HS) scored eight points with two steals.

Lani Fonoti (SO, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) scored seven points, and
Tyliah Frazier (FY, Fridley, Minn./Fridley HS) scored five points with two steals and two assists.
