DULUTH, Minn. -- Shooting just 27.3 percent from the field in the game, the Augsburg University women's basketball team dropped its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season-opener, falling 68-48 at the College of St. Scholastica on Wednesday evening.

• Augsburg hit 15-of-55 from the field in the game, including 2-of-16 from three-point range. The Auggies hit just 7-of-26 (26.9 percent) from the field in the first half, falling behind 35-17 at halftime. The Saints led by as many as 23 points down the stretch.
