Andy Stafford (SR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) tied a season-high with a 28-point 10-rebound double-double, leading the Augsburg University men's basketball team in a 95-64 victory over Saint Mary's University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Stafford claimed his second point-rebound double-double of the season with his 28-point, 10-rebound effort, hitting 10-of-17 from the field, including 5-of-10 from three-point range. He also added two steals and was a plus-33 in the contest.
• Augsburg used a 16-2 run to take a commanding 38-19 lead with 6:02 left in the first half, a lead that expanded to 50-25 at halftime. The Auggies led by as many as 38 points in the second half.
• The Auggies connected on 54.1 percent (33-of-61) from the field, including a season-best 16 three-pointers on 32 attempts. Saint Mary's shot 33.3 percent (23-of-69) and was 4-of-21 from three-point range.

Will Blascziek (SR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) scored 20 points with seven rebounds, hitting 7-of-10 from the field and 6-of-9 from three-point range.
