MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team fell victim to an aggressive St. Catherine University press, forcing 22 turnovers in a 56-38 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference decision on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg led 15-13 after one quarter, but the Wildcats used a 13-7 run to take a 26-22 lead into the locker room. St. Catherine outscored the Auggies 21-10 in the third quarter to pull ahead to stay, leading by as many as 18 points down the stretch. The Wildcats forced 22 Augsburg turnovers, converting them into 12 points.

Amira LaDuke (JR, Cass Lake, Minn./Cass Lake-Bena HS) led the Auggies in scoring, with 12 points, adding six rebounds and an assist.

Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds, to go along with six points and three assists.

Lani Fonoti (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) scored seven points with two assists, and
Melanie Delestrez (JR, Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens HS) scored four points with five rebounds and two steals.

• Hattie Fox scored 15 points with nine rebounds and two assists for St. Catherine.
• Lily Peper scored 15 points with three rebounds and two steals.
