MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team fell victim to an aggressive St. Catherine University press, forcing 22 turnovers in a 56-38 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference decision on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg led 15-13 after one quarter, but the Wildcats used a 13-7 run to take a 26-22 lead into the locker room. St. Catherine outscored the Auggies 21-10 in the third quarter to pull ahead to stay, leading by as many as 18 points down the stretch. The Wildcats forced 22 Augsburg turnovers, converting them into 12 points. 
• Amira LaDuke (JR, Cass Lake, Minn./Cass Lake-Bena HS) led the Auggies in scoring, with 12 points, adding six rebounds and an assist.
• Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds, to go along with six points and three assists.
• Lani Fonoti (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) scored seven points with two assists, and Melanie Delestrez (JR, Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens HS) scored four points with five rebounds and two steals.

FOR THE FOES
• Hattie Fox scored 15 points with nine rebounds and two assists for St. Catherine.
• Lily Peper scored 15 points with three rebounds and two steals.
