ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- Outscored 29-6 in the third quarter, the Augsburg University women's basketball team dropped a 75-58 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball contest at the College of Saint Benedict on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg kept the game close in the first half, trailing just 36-33 at halftime. But the Auggies hit just 2-of-10 from the field in the third quarter, as the Bennies outscored the Auggies 29-9. building a 65-39 lead. Augsburg ended up shooting 20-of-56 (35.7 percent) in the game, compared to 26-of-54 (48.1 percent) for Saint Benedict.

Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) scored 13 points to lead the Auggies in scoring, while
Saylor Gallagher (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored 12 points with a career-high 11 rebounds, adding three steals and an assist.
