MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team dropped a 68-39 decision to visiting Hamline University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday evening at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hamline used a 7-0 run to take a 15-8 advantage early in the second quarter and never trailed after that, with its 29-point final advantage ending up as its biggest lead. The Pipers connected on 40.3 percent (25-of-62) shooting from the field, compared to 29.8 percent (14-of-47) for the Auggies. Hamline outrebounded Augsburg by a 43-31 margin.

Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS), who scored 10 points with seven rebounds and two assists.
Amira LaDuke (JR, Cass Lake, Minn./Cass Lake-Bena HS) scored six points with five assists and three blocked shots.
