MOORHEAD, Minn. --
Elijah Stewart (FY, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) hit two home runs in the second game for Augsburg University, as the Auggies were swept in a pair of close games at Concordia College-Moorhead, falling 3-2 and 6-2 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• The teams played an even game throughout, with the game tied 2-2 going into the bottom of the seventh inning. The Cobbers loaded the bases, and a one-out single ended the game.

Jorda Sivoravong (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) drove in
Nick Hubbard (SR, Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) on a single in the third inning for the Auggies, and Hubbard hit a solo home run to left field in the fifth. Both Sivoravong and Hubbard had two hits in the first game.

Jake Pittelkow (JR, Roseville, Minn./Simley HS) struck out five against five walks and six hits in a complete-game effort on the mound for the Auggies.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Stewart hit his first two collegiate home runs in the second game -- a solo shot to right field in the second inning and another to right center in the fourth. But Concordia scored six unanswered runs in the final four innings to take the victory.
• Sivoravong,
Stanley Regguinti (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) and
Andruw Vela (SO, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) also had hits for the Auggies in the second game.
• Pitcher
Manny Weiss (JR, Marion, Iowa/Linn-Mar HS) struck out three against two walks and five hits in seven innings of work.
FOR THE FOES
• Thomas Horan went 2-for-4 with a double and the game-winning RBI in the first game for Concordia.
• David Dorsey went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the second game.
