LOCATION: Edor Nelson Field, Minneapolis
RECORD: Augsburg 12-12 overall (3-3 MIAC), St. Scholastica 4-16 overall (0-4 MIAC)

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Paaske struck out five against one walk and three hits in the first-game shutout, in a game shortened to five innings by the NCAA eight-run rule. She threw just 65 pitches -- 44 strikes -- in the victory. She helped her own cause by going 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring three runs. She hit a solo home run in the first inning, and singled and hit a two-run double as part of a nine-run third inning, as the Auggies sent 14 batters to the plate and collected eight hits.
• In addition to Paaske's two-run double in the third, Olivia Funk (SR, Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura HS) hit a two-run double and brought home a run on a bases-loaded walk, Olivia Hennager (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) hit a two-run double and Megan Gissler (SO, Louisville, Neb./Louisville HS) hit a two-run single.
• Augsburg loaded the bases in the second inning, with Jayden Evenson (JR, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) driving in Funk on an infield single.
• Eight different Auggies had hits in the game, and seven different Auggies scored. Hennager and Zoie Johnson (SR, Carlton, Minn./Esko HS) had two hits each, and Pilon and Funk scored two runs each.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Paaske pitched another complete-game victory, settling down after allowing three runs in the first inning to shut down the Saints the rest of the way, tying a career-best with eight strikeouts against one walk and seven hits. Of her 100 pitches in the second game, 69 were strikes. She helped her own cause again at the plate, hitting a three-run home run as part of a six-run fourth inning for the Auggies.
• Meanwhile, Pilon hit two home runs, both to deep center field -- a solo homer to lead off the second inning and a three-run homer in the third. Pilon became the first Auggie to have a two-homer game since Jacquline Nichols hit two homers in a 13-6 loss to Case Western Reserve (Ohio) on March 15, 2018 in Tucson, Ariz.
Torrie Rehder (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) hit a two-run double in the fourth inning, and Hennager hit an RBI single.
• The Auggies ended the game early in the sixth inning, as Hennager plated pinch-runner Evelyn Schmidt (FY, Buffalo, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) on a fielder's choice.
• Augsburg had 11 hits in the second game, with Pilon going 3-for-3 with three runs scored, Rehder went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and Evenson scored two runs. Eight different Auggies had hits, and seven different Auggies scored runs.
