CHICAGO -- Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) tied the game for the Augsburg University women's soccer team on a goal in the 63rd minute, but host North Park University scored with 3:13 left in regulation time to claim a 2-1 nonconference victory on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 1-0 in the 63rd minute, Hookom executed a give-and-go with Jayla Ponce (SR, Kuna, Idaho/Kuna HS), with Ponce sliding a through ball forward to Hookom on the right wing, and Hookom sent the ball high off the goalkeeper's hands into the net for her first goal of the season.
• Augsburg outshot North Park by a 14-8 margin, including a 5-4 advantage in shots on-goal. Lennon Folstad (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Central HS) had four shots in the game for the Auggies, while Hookom and McKenna Nachreiner (JR, Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee HS) had three shots each.
• Claire Smothers (SO, Iowa City, Iowa/Iowa City HS) had two saves in goal for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Maja Applequist scored for North Park in the 87th minute, gaining a rebound off a blocked shot near the right goalpost and shooting the ball off the goalkeeper and into the net.
