MINNEAPOLIS --
Phoebe Alva Rosa (SR, Jackson, Wyo./Jackson Hole HS) scored the lone goal of the game with 21 seconds remaining, giving the Augsburg University women's soccer team a 1-0 nonconference win over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies used a series of crisp passes to work the ball forward in the final minute of play, leading to the game-winning goal.
Kate Aman-Lavicky (JR, Madison, Wis./Madison West HS) sent the ball from the right wing to the top of the 18-yard box, where
Lennon Folstad (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Central HS) collected it, fought off a defender and tapped the ball to Alva Rosa, whose low shot snuck under a diving Falcon goalkeeper with 21 seconds left. The goal was Alva Rosa's first of the season.
• The game was a relatively even contest throughout, with Augsburg maintaining a 55-to-45-percent possession advantage and outshooting UW-River Falls by a 12-8 margin.
