• The Auggies took a lead just 2:54 into the contest, as

QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG COACH GREG HOLKER
• Well, that was tough to sit through. Our soccer wasn't that bad, really. They scored goals that devastated the rhythm and came at times we felt we were on the front foot. We were negative-three on set pieces, and that isn't something we've suffered through yet this season."
• "Hats off to Saint John's for executing on the day, and we will bounce back this weekend. A loss had to come at some point. How we respond is what I'm excited to see."
FOR THE FOES
• Foster Conlin, Ronan O'Connor and Eli Ryan had a goal and assist each for the Johnnies.
• Gabe Franzman and Lisle Cherwien also scored goals for Saint John's.
UP NEXT
• Augsburg returns to MIAC play on Saturday (10/4) at 1 p.m. with a game at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.
