MINNEAPOLIS --
Nolan Nenow (FY, Jamestown, N.D./Jamestown HS) claimed his first collegiate hat trick, and
Peyton Blair (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) and
Cade Stibbe (SR, Fargo, N.D./Fargo Davies HS) scored two goals each, leading the Augsburg University men's hockey team to an 8-4 nonconference victory over Lake Forest College on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Nenow doubled his inaugural season scoring total with his three-goal effort, scoring a goal in the second period and two goals in the third period, giving him six goals on the season.
• Stibbe scored just 1:19 into the game and added his second goal 53 seconds into the second period, for his first two goals of the season.
• Playing in his first game in an Augsburg uniform after transferring from Bethel University, Blair scored late in the second period and late in the third period, giving him five total goals on the 2025-26 campaign.

Conner Schneider (SO, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) scored a power-play goal midway through the second period, adding two asists for a three-point night.

Noah Grolnic (FY, Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley HS) had two assists for the Auggies, and nine other Auggies had an assist each.
• Augsburg outshot Lake Forest by a 29-26 margin in the game.
Alex Timmons (JR, Lake Elmo, Minn./Gentry Academy HS) had 22 saves in goal for the win.
FOR THE FOES
• Colin Bella scored two goals for Lake Forest, with Logan Kittleson and Christopher O'Flaherty adding goals.
• Forester goalie Luke Szyszka had 15 goals in the first two periods, with Dylan Kruss recording six saves in the third period.
