NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Augsburg University narrowly fell to Carleton College 74-72 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball contest on Saturday at West Gym. The Auggies' bench contributed significantly with 34 points, and the team matched the Knights in points in the paint with 32. However, Carleton capitalized on free throws, making 33 of 40 attempts, which proved decisive in the tight contest.
