MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams claimed 14 personal-best efforts at the University of Minnesota Gopher Classic meet on Saturday.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) claimed an event victory for the Auggies, winning the 400-meter dash in a season-best 57.50-second time. The time is currently second-fastest among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference runners.
•
Nathalie Hain (SO, Pfaffenhofen, Germany/Schyren-Gymnasium Pfaffenhofen) and
Emma Ryan (FY, St. Joseph, Minn./Rocori HS) claimed personal-best times in the 600-meter dash, with times of 2:08.59 and 2:09.03, respectively.

Alwena Brix (SO, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Rennes) set a season-best 2:36.66 time in the 800-meter run.
•
Emaire Greene (FY, Jacksonville, Fla./Bishop John J. Snyder HS) set personal-best times in both the 60-meter hurdles (11.68 seconds) and 200-meter dash (29.51 seconds), with the 60-meter hurdle time the seventh-best in school history.
•
Nacia Griffin (SO, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) recorded an 8.34-second time in the 60-meter dash and 29.48-second time in the 200.
Ta'Kia Campbell (JR, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) set a season-best 8.70-second time in the 60-meter dash.

Davi Worman (JR, Edina, Minn./Groves Academy HS) finished with a 7:13.39 time in the mile run.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg's best individual finish came from
Shawn Huberty (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Washington Tech Magnet HS), who finished in seventh place in the high jump with a 1.80-meter (5-feet-10.75) clearance.
•
Vicente Bolivar (FY, Bennett, Colo./Kiowa HS) finished eighth in the triple jump with a personal-best 13.05-meter (42-feet-9.75) effort, the ninth-best indoor performance in school history. Bolivar also set a personal-best 7.34-second time in the 60-meter dash.
•
Jamir Horton (SO, Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) finished in 19th place in the 60-meter hurdles in a personal-best 9.16 seconds, the 10th-fastest time in school history.
• Three Auggies set personal-best times in the 600-meter dash, with
Tyler Anderson (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) finishing 12th in 1:30.05,
Kyler Bad Warrior (SO, Shakopee, Minn./V. Sue Cleveland (N.M.) HS) finishing in 1:32.23, and
Hamza Mohamed (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) finishing in 1:36.51.
Alex Chan (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Groves Academy HS) finished in 1:47.62. Anderson also ran in the 60-meter hurdles, with a 10.95-second finish. Bad Warrior finished in 25.94 seconds in the 200-meter dash, while Chan set a 28.93-second time.

Falens Byron (SO, Naples, Fla./Palmetto Ridge HS) set his second straight personal-best time in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 23.98 seconds, and also led the Auggies with a 7.26-second time in the 60-meter dash.

Foster Mulvehill (JR, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) finished in 7.46 seconds in the 60 and 24.53 seconds in the 200, and
D'Vante McElroy (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) set a personal-best 7.53-second time in the 60.

Nahom Negassie (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) ran the 60 in 7.64 seconds and 25.08 seconds in the 200, and
LaDondre Hubbard Rivera (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Washington Tech Magnet HS) finished in 7.96 seconds in the 60 and 27.01 seconds in the 200.

Henry Nelson (SR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) ran the mile in 4:42.06, with teammate
Paul Yang (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Washington Tech Magnet HS) setting a personal-best 5:10.81 time. Yang ran the 800-meter run in 2:13.11, with
Tanner Rouillard-Horne (SR, St. Paul, Minn./Harding HS) setting a 2:29.00 personal-best time.

JT Kimbrough (FY, Mound, Minn./Mound-Westonka HS) competed in the long jump, with a 5.46-meter (17-feet-11.0) effort.
