Hookom named to CSC Academic All-District squad

Allison HookomMINNEAPOLIS – Augsburg University women's track and field student-athlete Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) was named to the Academic All-District Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), it was announced on Tuesday.

It's the fourth career CSC Academic All-District honor for Hookom, a biology major with a 3.95 grade-point average. She previously earned the honor in track and field in 2024, and as a women's soccer forward, earned CSC Academic All-District honors in both 2025 and 2024. Hookom will also earn Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors three seasons each in both track and field and soccer, and has earned United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors in 2025 and 2024.

A four-time USTFCCCA All-North Region honoree in the women's indoor 400-meter dash, she finished in third place in 2026 in both the 400-meter dash (57.66 seconds) and 600-meter run (1:36.73) at the MIAC Indoor Championships, and finished in eighth place in the 400-meter dash (58.74 seconds) and 14th in the 400-meter hurdles at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. She finished with top-50 times in the NCAA Division III North Region in three events this season -- fifth in the indoor 400-meter dash (56.57 seconds, 37th among all NCAA Division III runners nationally), 24th in the outdoor 400-meter dash (58.01 seconds) and 37th in the outdoor 400-meter hurdles (1:07.97). 

In her collegiate career, Hookom has recorded nine All-MIAC (top-three) finishes, four All-MIAC Honorable Mention (places 4-6) finishes and 17 top-10 MIAC meet performances, along with four conference individual championships. She earned berths in the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships three times in the 400-meter dash, earning All-American honors with a third-place finish in 2025. She holds Augsburg school records in the indoor 400-meter dash (56.15 seconds) and 600-meter dash (1:34.94)

In soccer, Hookom earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors in 2025, scoring five goals with three assists for 13 points. Hookom played in 73 career games (3,187 minutes, 45.7 minutes per-game), scoring 11 goals with five assists for 27 points on 56 shots on-goal.

The CSC Academic All-District team is part of the CSC Academic All-America program. Nominated by athletic communication professionals at their schools, student-athletes must have a grade-point average above 3.50 (4.0 scale) and have outstanding athletic credentials. The Division III Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Division III Academic All-America teams program.
