NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams recorded four top-six finishes to earn conference honors at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, held on Friday and Saturday at Carleton College.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) earned a pair of All-MIAC honors, placing third in both the 400-meter dash (57.66 seconds) and 600-meter run (1:35.73). She now has nine All-MIAC (top-three) finishes, four All-MIAC Honorable Mention (places 4-6) finishes and 16 top-10 MIAC meet performances, along with four conference individual championships.

Nacia Griffin (SO, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) set a personal-best time with a 7.62-second effort in the 55-meter dash for the Auggies.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Shawn Huberty (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Washington Tech Magnet HS) claimed an All-MIAC Honorable Mention finish in the men's high jump, finishing fourth with a 1.87-meter (6-feet-1.50) effort, just shy of his season-best 1.90-meter (6-feet-2.75) clearance earlier this season.

D'Vante McElroy (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) also earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors, finishing fifth in the triple jump with a personal-best 13.46-meter (44-feet-2.0) effort.

Vicente Bolivar (FY, Bennett, Colo./Kiowa HS) just missed out on a conference honorable mention finish in the triple jump, placing seventh with a personal-best 13.16-meter (43-feet-2.25) effort. He also finished 10th in the long jump, with a 6.41-meter (21-feet-0.50) leap.

Jamir Horton (SO, Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) set a personal-best time of 8.65 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles, andÂ
Falens Byron (SO, Naples, Fla./Palmetto Ridge HS) finished with a personal-best 6.75 seconds in the 55-meter dash.

Henry Nelson (SR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) fell a quarter-second shy of his previous personal best in the mile run, finishing in 4:39.59.
