LA CROSSE, Wis. -- D'Vante McElroy (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) competed for the Augsburg University men's track and field team at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Last Chance Qualifier meet on Thursday.

At Thursday's meet, McElroy was unable to improve upon his season-best effort, a school-record 14.46-meter (47-feet-5.25) leap set at last week's Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. He finished 10th in the last chance qualifier field with a 13.72-meter (45-feet-0.25) effort. His 14.46-meter jump is currently 35th among all NCAA Division III men's triple jumpers nationally. The top 22 declared athletes qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships.
